Three things that make me happy: Time spent with friends and family, personal growth, supporting others on their journey
What made you want to be a part of SAMS?
I wanted to be part of SAMS because I believe strongly in building a connected, supportive, and empowering community for Medical Science students. I value the role SAMS plays in creating spaces where students feel seen beyond lectures and labs. For me, joining SAMS is not just about involvement, it is about responsibility. I want to help build a MedSci community that is proactive, inclusive, and genuinely responsive to student needs, ensuring that students at every stage feel both supported and represented.
What are your goals/aims as an executive member of SAMS?
- Make uni more than just study
- Strengthen accessibility and inclusivity across all SAMS initiatives.
- Build sustainable programmes that create long term impact.
- Improve communication and engagement so SAMS is consistently visible, approachable, and responsive to student needs.
- Contribute to a culture of accountability and collaboration within the MEDSCI cohort.
